The Constitution of Nepal was promulgated on September 20, 2015, with the restructuring of the state into three levels of the government—federal, provincial, and local—(one federal government, seven provincial governments, and 753 local levels (metropolitan city, 6, sub-metropolitan city, 11, municipality, 276 and rural municipality, 460). Similarly, the federal act "Local Government Operation Acts (LGOA) 2017 was activated in 2017 as the main operational law of the local governments, which has provisioned to develop and implement periodic, annual, strategic, sectoral, mid-, and long-term development plans based on local-level updated data. Local Institutions Self-Assessment (LISA) has made the periodic plan mandatory for the local governments. 

In this context, CSDS has been imparting its expertise in the formulation of local-level periodic plans. Since its establishment, CSDS has been providing its quality support to the local governments. Following are some local governments that CSDS has provided technical support in formulating their periodic development plan.
